Cake Care

Depending on the what medium has been used for your cake, ganache, buttercream, fondant. Will determine how you will need to look after your cake.

We advise you to place your cake in the fridge after collection or delivery.

Ideally remove 30mins prior to your event or let this be the last thing you set on the table.

Single tier cakes and stacked cakes will stand for 4 hour approx during cooler climates and in the summer 3-4hrs. In all climates we do advise placing the cake in a well ventilated room and have the Air Conditioning on.

Never place our cakes in direct sunlight or under spotlights for long periods of time. For tiered and wedding cakes we offer the option for us to set up the cake at the venue.

We are happy to and have plenty of experience liaising with venues in order to get your cake set up, and where it needs to be for your special event.

Can I collect my cake?

Yes you can. We will give the available collection times when you place your order.

Where do I keep my cake after I collect it?

The safest place to keep your cake is in the fridge until you are ready to serve it. Take your cake out 30 minutes before you are ready to serve.

Can I choose more than one flavour?

Yes you can. Your cake quote will reflect the prices.

How far in advance should I book?

We ask you to order as soon as you know when you require a cake! We take orders a year in advance for celebrations and weddings.

Our standard booking time is 2weeks. We do on occasions take last minute orders this depends on how busy we are on that week, please feel free to email us about availability.
